ScreenDoor monitors and blocks Internet access, protecting you from the potential bandwidth, liability, and
productivity problems introduced by allowing unregulated Internet access on your network. ScreenDoor blocks or
monitors user access to inappropriate, objectionable, or unproductive content on the Web. ScreenDoor's fully
customizable "access denied page" lets your users know when they have violated your Acceptable Use Policy.
How ScreenDoor Works
ScreenDoor monitors and blocks:
- millions of sites in multiple categories using its
ScreenedOut List. You can easily add sites to
monitor or block to the categories or allow access to sites currently blocked by the list.
- access by protocol, port, and server address rather than keywords. This avoids problems caused by
keyword blocking, for example, blocking breast cancer sites because they contain the word breast.
- by machine or user, allowing flexible configuration.

"Our school district has used ScreenDoor for about half a year. It is great! Unpack, plug in, and set a few preferences and you are finished...."
