Palisade Systems was founded in 1996 by Dr. Doug Jacobson, Iowa State University professor of computer engineering. Our headquarters are located in Ames, Iowa at the Iowa State University Research Park. A successful product of technology transfer and entrepreneurial incubator efforts at ISU, Palisade leverages exclusive commercial development rights to patented technology developed by Dr. Jacobson as part of his ongoing efforts in computer security research and education. The company serves customers all over the United States and other parts of the world.
